Voter Fraud IS a Fraud!Reviewed by Freshaire20 on Aug 17.Rating: -
The news about voter fraud, the news that no-one talks about, is voter fraud is a fraud. There are so few cases of voter impersonation, that it is a waste of time and legislature money to create laws and the necessary ID's to prevent it. What is surprising as well is that there have been states quoting Read more [...]
Romney and Ryan...The Logo Says It All?Reviewed by Freshaire20 on Aug 15.Rating: 4.0
I believe this logo speaks for itself, don't you? Back in time, when Richie Rich was a good-hearted boy but not necessarily in tune with his lesser well off friends, this logo was emblazoned everywhere. Now we have multimillionaires running for president. Candidate Mitt Romney has picked a "Tea Read more [...]
What Is Lost With "Repeal" and No ReplacementsReviewed by Freshaire20 on Jul 22.Rating: 4.0While listening to dueling news channels, it starts to become clear what we will lose in the The Republican nominee, ex-Governor Mitt Romney, has been happily declaring on every platform that he will "Repeal Obamacare!" and "Repeal Dodd-Frank", or yet again, "repeal job-killing taxes and regulation." While all of that repealing would take an act of Congress, something they are not so good at lately, none of it has a chance of doing anything positive either. Repealing these "job-killing" laws would be a step in some direction, I grant you, but what would they ( the Republicans) do next? Nothing? In which case, doesn't that just take us back to the election of 2008?
While listening to the dueling news channels on television, reading magazine articles, and generally trying to keep up to date on the promises and such from politicians I noted some absences. The Republican nominee, exGovernor Mitt Romney, has been happily declaring on every platform that he will Read more [...]
Which Comes First? The People or The Budget?Reviewed by Freshaire20 on May 7.Rating: -
Which do you think comes first when we talk about our country's budget and deficit spending? People and their needs, or the overwhelming need to reduce spending, no matter what? When did caring for the old, the infirm, the innocent, those unable to help themselves become secondary to the goal Read more [...]
Did You Know...??Reviewed by Freshaire20 on Jan 27.Rating:
Did you know that Congressperson and Senators can benefit from a sort of "insider trading" when it comes to the stock market? Did you know that committee chairpersons in the Congress and Senate actually "pay" for their chairmanship? Did you know that 3/4 of the Representatives of the People are actually Read more [...]
Republican Truth TroublesReviewed by Freshaire20 on Dec 24.Rating:
During the debates and politicking in Iowa this month, there has been a lot of "truth" bandied about regarding the President's performance and his long-term successes and failures. The one issue that can be taken with their discussion is that they are really not very factual. As President Obama Read more [...]

Wisconsin's Voter Identification ProblemReviewed by Freshaire20 on Nov 21.Rating: -
UPDATE:
The voter identification bill is currently being held up in court facing challenges from several representative voter groups, such as the League of Women Voters and the NAACP. The decision in Pennsylvania courts that there is no demonstrable disenfranchisement is a blow, but we Read more [...]
The Thoughts Behind Union BustingReviewed by Freshaire20 on Nov 4.Rating:
It's been said all along that one of the reasons for Republicans wanting to bust up the unionswas a financial one. I wonder, though, if everyone knows just what that means. I was wandering around on OpenSecrets.gov, a website set up so that backtracking the money in government can be seen. What I found Read more [...]
A Step Back In Time = Vote RepublicanReviewed by Freshaire20 on Oct 11.Rating:
There we have it ladies and gentlemen, the bottom line. It is very interesting that the Republican party has made it VERY clear that they will go back to the ways things were done. It might not sound like it at first, but listen to what they have said in debate after debate, news show after Read more [...]
